Balderson a 'Friend of Agriculture'
COLUMBUS - Balderson, a Republican, is a candidate for the Ohio House of Representatives in the 94th House District.
Ohio Farm Bureau awards the 'Friend of Agriculture' designation to candidates deemed best able to represent the interests of Ohio's citizens and Farm Bureau members. Candidates running in open seats are selected based on their answers to OFBF's survey, as well as an interview by local Farm Bureau volunteers.
Volunteers query candidates on aspects of the agricultural industry, eminent domain, land use, taxes, education, transportation, Clean Ohio, biofuels, bioproducts, line fence legislation, energy legislation, etc.
Ohio Farm Bureau will be listing its “Friends of Agriculture” in an election guide, which will be mailed to 60,000 farm families in mid-October. They will also be listed at: www.farmvotesmatter.org. Agriculture is the state's leading industry, accounting for more than $93 billion in annual revenue and one in seven jobs.
